Ryotaro Kato Solo Exhibition

I am pleased to present my second solo exhibition at Kyoto Takashimaya.
This exhibition features new works centered on tea bowls created through anagama firing, showcasing a variety of techniques including Shino, Oribe, Hikidashi-guro, and more.

Colored by Flame: The Artistry of Katō Ryōtarō

My first solo exhibition in the US will be held at Joan B Mirviss LTD, a historic gallery in New York.
The exhibition will feature 27 new works highlighting six of my captivating glazing styles, including flower vases and tea bowls, as well as two calligraphy works.
